Tax Intern - Legal and Finance

The Programme

The Legal, Compliance and Finance teams play a key role in ensuring Shopee complies with applicable regulations and is primed for success with the right checks and balances while safeguarding the interests of our buyers and sellers in an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem.

What You Will Do

• Assist tax specialists in preparing accurate withholding calculation 
• Do research updates related to laws and fiscal that may directly or indirectly affect the company 
• Do the research and portray liabilities and requirements for tax payment 
• Maintaining tax-related documents of the company

Required Skills and Abilities

• University student who is currently pursuing final semester (7 or 8) in Accounting or Fiscal. 
• Candidates with no working experience are welcomed to apply 
• Energetic and fast learner 
• Able to communicate both verbally and written in English and Indonesian to communicate with our internal and regional stakeholders 
• Able to work Monday to Friday at working hours
