Trainee - Business Tax

What You Will Do

• Collects, assimilates, and analyzes data and uses standard processes and tools to help surface and support solutions in the Tax and Legal business.   
• Develops knowledge of current tax legislation across the Global Tax and Legal function.   
• Applies technology knowledge to address client business challenges.   
• Conducts research on tax regimes in local and other tax jurisdictions in which clients operate.   
• Prepares tax provisions using technical skills to accurately complete calculations and follow Firm policies and procedures.
• Researches and prepares draft client reports under the guidance of senior staff and project management.   
• Research tax authority audit/appeals process and prepares draft reports to be presented before the tax authorities in tax audits/administrative appeals.   
• Recognizes the key capabilities required to deliver a high-quality service experience to the client.   
• Demonstrates strong commitment to personal learning and development; acts as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Trainee period will be held approximately for 3 months (with possibility to be extended). 
• Last year students from reputable universities with excellent academic result (minimum GPA 3.00), majoring in Taxation/Accounting/Fiscal Administration.  
• Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. 
• Candidate must be willing to work full time and willing to work overtime from time to time. 
• Candidate has finished all of his/her classes (permission for thesis counseling might be granted based on discussion with the Manager in charge). 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (including strong presentation skills). 
• Highly proficient in MS Office (especially in excel, word and power point). 
• Willing to work hard, enthusiastic and self-motivated. 
• Strong analytical and advisory skills. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Able to work in a fast moving and demanding environment. 
• Strong commitment, multi-tasking and team player.
