UX Designer Intern - Remote - Psychology

The Programme

We are looking for highly motivated interns who are ready to be part of an award-winning team working on the Best App for Good 2021 by Google Play Indonesia!  
 
As an intern at Campaign #ForChange, you will have the opportunity to experience our company culture, expand your network and build skills to develop your expertise.  
 
This is a full-time learning experience where you won't just be shadowing others—you'll be in the mix right from the start. We are also a fully remote company so please feel free to apply no matter where you are located. Competitive compensation provided as well.  
 
UX Designer Intern: 
 
Great UX Designer intern ensures that our app is intuitive, fun and impactful! You will need to be able to grasp the user's needs and solve their problems.  
 
Be part of a dynamic team with close collaboration with our Product Manager, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the design.  
 
You will gain experience in talking with users, doing testing, research, creating wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. 

• Help identify & troubleshoot user experience problems. 
• Create wireframes of websites & mobile apps. 
• Work with PMs and Researchers to find the best solution for user problems, and also working with UI designers, UX writers, and development team to make sure the planned user flow and experience is delivered to the user. 
• Build prototype and do usability testing with users. 
• Create design ideas with process flow and sitemaps.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Fresh graduates/university students welcomed.  
• Able to commit 20-30 working hours per week. 
• Current university student or fresh graduate with a major in communication design, psychology, computer science, information technology, or related field. Other majors with relevant certifications will also be considered. 
• Have a portfolio of UX design projects. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to craft delightful designs and explain design options. 
• Detail-oriented and critical thinker. 
• Problem solver and user centered. 
• Knowledge of wireframe and various design tools, specifically Figma. 
• Have an interest/interest in projects and social movements, especially the social issues that the Campaign focuses on (Equality, Education, Environment, Health). 
• Proactive & creative in finding a solution or solving a case. 
• Students for at least on semester 5 or above are prioritized, with the consideration that they have received basic lecture material in accordance with the majors applied for. 
• Willing to work & study in a fast-paced work environment. 
• Have good communication skills, both written and spoken. 
• Able to work independently or in groups. 
• Have a growth mindset. 
• Willing to work remotely (online) so this internship opportunity is open for those who live outside JABODETABEK. 
• Be available for a 6-month internship.
